About the guides service: Guaranteed shark catch! Saltwater shark trips are only available during the month of August. August is the best month to fish offshore because the sharks are in and the seas are usually calm. Specializes in Shark fishing in the near shore waters off Galveston Island. Large numbers of Black-tip, Spinner, and Bull Sharks congregate in the near shore waters off Galveston Island in the summer time. It is almost scary how many Sharks are out there within sight of the beach, most are in the 4-7 foot range but we catch a few bigger ones every year and rarely catch smaller ones. Most trips produce all the action you can stand and that is why we guarantee you will catch Sharks on every trip. (We only keep a few small Sharks to eat, all big Sharks are released at boat side)
Remember -- DO NOT EVER bring a shark boat-side or onto the deck until it is completely exhausted -- if a living, breathing, snapping shark gets near an overconfident fisherman bad things can happen and serious injury can result.
